Back to School with Nicole of Making It Lovely

I’m excited to welcome Nicole of Making It Lovely. She’s sharing her back to school picks today, and true to her form, she’s compiled an impeccable mood board! Take it away Nicole…

Ah, back to school time!  I’ve always looked forward to new school supplies and their promise of a fresh start.  I may not need a new Trapper-Keeper or scented markers anymore, but there are a few things I’d put on my supply list…  I would want a simple but gorgeous date book, and of course a cute pen with which to write.  I could attempt to be well-organized if I had a set of colorful binders.  And for all my correspondence, a personalized address stamp would be awesome.  OK, and maybe some scented markers too.  Mmm, blueberry.

Thanks for sharing Nicole! (Your list certainly made me nostalgic for some Mr. Sketch, the Magenta-Raspberry was always my favorite, yum!)

Oh my gosh, I *loved* smelly markers (that’s what I called them:) when I was a kid…especially a brand new pack! The magenta was always my fave.

Me too! I loved the smelly markers! And the smell of a brand new box of crayons. Yum!

New crayon scent, YUM. I haven’t enjoyed that in awhile!

I’m guessing I was an oddball in my nursery school –– my favorite markers were Brown (cinnamon) and Black (licorice)…and I’d pick the same to this day!

I know this is true for me — Clutter hinders creativity, and with shiny new office supplies, I always feel ready for a fresh start! I have a thing for nice pens, too…but I prefer Sharpies instead of Mr. Sketch. :)
