Eclectic layers.

Meredith Heron pulled together a perfect balance of styles for the Canadian House and Home Junior League showhouse. Can you believe this was once a basement safe?

It’s all about contrast: the rustic, worn table, the sleek and clean Panton chair, the glamour of an oversized leaning mirror, the bohemian quality of a tie-dye rug. And what I think what really takes the cake in execution is leaving the exposed pipes and wires wrapping around a traditional light fixture.

I love this. The Panton chair is a gesture I know I wouldn’t be brave enough to make but it really works in the space.
