Container Store deception.

I splurged on some really cute wrapping paper at the Container Store last weekend and was giddy with the prospect of bundling up presents for my family in it when I got home.  (I’m a freak, I spend an extensive amount of time picking out a signature wrapping paper each year for Christmas, go ahead, judge.)

Major disappointment though: the paper looked deceivingly like rolls of wrapping (given that they were sold IN ROLLS), but when I opened them up they were two 20″x30″ sheets of paper that weren’t big enough to wrap any of the presents I’d already bought. Container Store, why do you deceive me?

I feel your pain! They have beautiful paper, but it’s crazy expensive for what you actually get.

The exact same thing happened to me! And the sheets are sooo small- they didn’t even fit the boxes I wanted to wrap- a big dissapointment. Especially considering the price.

what a dissapointment!! such cute paper though, maybe you could wrap them over little cardboard shapes (like stars or trees?) and make ornaments for your xmas tree or something?? or make one of those paper flag banners – not sure if thats what it’s called but – you know – the triangle cut outs on string hung up like a banner?

So annoying! The second one is adorable though.

    Ouch! That really smarts.

And trust– if I weren’t being so resolutely cheap this year (I mean, uh, frugal) I would be spending loads of time and $ buying signature wrapping paper myself.
