Back on the runway 4

By domestikatedlife

Last night’s episode of Project Runway was wrong, just wrong. It was a massive corporate branding orgy. I get the whole ”for a good cause thing” but the cause was heavily over-shadowed by tacky, shiny, red fabrics that were paired with Campbell’s branded quilting cotton.  Oh and guest judge Georgina Chapman? She’s Harvey Weinstein’s wife, a co-producer of the show!

I understand that they have to make money, but product placements and corporate sponsors should be subtly incorporated. The only thing more abrasive than the corporate pushers were the unflattering red dresses. Maybe that skinny biatch Heidi can pull it off, but really, no one looks good in red, especially not “real” women (fatties).

I thought Maya Luz should have won, she’s one of the few designers that thought outside the soup can. Oh and her outfit last night? A-maze.

And on the bright side, at we got a Michael Kors rant about the tacky equation.  Short + Tight + Shiny/(Glitter or Crystals) = Hot Mess
