Aviary accessories.

My friend Colleen bought an adorable bench from Target for her living room, and when I saw it at her apartment I knew the pattern right away; the print is identical to Thomas Paul’s Aviary fabric. So a quick jaunt to the fabric store, and about two weeks of the fabric sitting on top of my [...]

Back on the runway 9.

I finally got around to watching last week’s Project Runway last night, and all of my predictions have been turned upside down! I was shocked that Amy’s run has come to an end; I had originally predicted her to be a top 3 contender! I’m a little weary of the judge’s taste levels once again [...]

The doctor is in.

I was just reading on Refinery29 that Doc Martens are celebrating their 50th anniversary. I was scrolling around the Dr. Martens web site and feel like with all of the 90′s revival trends going on, the boots might be seeing a resurgence too. Pink and floral boots? Perfect balance of rocker chick and romantic feminine. The [...]

TGIF.

No project runway recap today, I didn’t get to watch it last night. I was out celebrating spring and hanging out with friends, good excuse? So happy it’s Friday, and finally, finally, warm weather Image via It’s Mary Ruffle

Ok, just one more.

A dose of green.

I got to work today and looked around at a sea of green sweaters and shirts. Oops! I forgot to wear green for St Patrick’s Day, so a dose of green for the blog will have to do. Images via Domino, Pieces, SweetiePiePumpkinNoodle, and Better Homes & Gardens

Liberty Loot.

I hit up two Targets in the past two days to scope the Liberty of London launch, and unfortunately didn’t get there early enough for the prep bowls I was hoping for. I did score a few candles and the note cube; I’m delighting in the peacock feather print! It looks like a few things [...]

Pillow input.

I feel like my animal print pillows need some company, and I’ve been struggling to find a good match. Urban Outfitters is having stellar sales right now online, and I’m considering some green and grey ombre pillows… But I need some input.  Are they cute? Here is my (very-rough) mock-up of how they’d look: via Urban Outfitters

Knotty girl.

A knotted bundle of assorted pearls? This might be next on my list of projects to take on (and complete). Images via Anthropologie, Charm and Chain

Back on the runway 8.

I was truly in awe of the judges’ decisions last night. I have been a HUGE Amy fan from day 1, and even predicted she’d make it to Bryant park… but when I saw her hair-nest last night, I almost WANTED her to get sent home. This leads to the ultimate question… what is worse? [...]
