I want to stencil lots of rooms! First off, our master bedroom, then our dining room and lastly our small half bath. The master bedroom and dining room would be one wall only, and the bathroom would be every wall. We’ve already done one wall in the nursery and we love it!

I, too, am a renter and so my creative outlets are a little stifled. I would stencil fabric for my headboard, the top of a cool little round table I picked up for a song, and the inside of my buffet!

  128. Stacey M. August 22, 2012 at 9:57 pm

I don’t even know where to start! We just bought our first stencil, its in the mail headed to our house aka a constant work in progress. I am an avid Craigslist FREE hunter and am always on the look out for a cruddy old desk/table that I can splash some paint on and make look beautiful again. After starring at Pinterest for weeks, I am getting close to attempting to paint fabric! If I won the gift card, I would paint fabric for a DIY makeover coffee table/ottoman AND a matching strip for some drapery I want to make. A coordinated family room, that my husband and I have created ourselves, is what I dream of when I lay my head down at night :)

  131. Melanie Walker August 23, 2012 at 4:59 pm

I just moved into my first apartment, and honestly it is looking so bare! The walls are literally WHITE, and not pleasing at all. The wonderful couple I am renting the apartment from said I am free to paint on the walls if I wish. I would first start in my kitchen because it looks depressing and needs some cheering up. Following that I would work on other accent pieces in my room, for example my desk. Previously I said that this is my first apartment, which is because I am a college student putting myself through college. Working a full time job and being a full time double major in Business Management and Psychology these stencils would give me a craft to focus on and release stress in my free time.
