Leek and Shallot Party Dip.
- 2 Leeks
- 2 Large shallots
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 2 Cups of sour cream
- 2 Tbsp of fresh dill
- 3 Tbsp of fresh chives
- 1 Tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of onion powder
- Salt and Pepper
- Thinly slice the light green part of the leeks, and thinly slice the two shallots.
- Cook over medium heat with a very small amount of olive oil for 7-8 minutes.
- Add a finely minced clove of garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Once leek and shallot mixture is fully cooled, combine with sour cream, dill, chives, spices and lots of fresh cracked black pepper and salt.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving; pair with Food Should Taste Good Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
