PS: I’m excited
Bloggers sure are making out with book deals lately, all of my past few book purchases have been by bloggers turned authors. I’m devouring my Selby book, browsed through my sister’s copy of the Sartorialist‘s book, and just preordered Apartment Therapy‘s second book.
I’m a big fan of the PS I Made This blog and was pretty darn excited to notice when reading Lonny that it’s going to be made into a book too! Now that’s a blog-turned-book I’m looking forward to!
Design Crush: Chez Larsson
It’s official. I have a design-crush on Benita Larsson’s home. Every time she posts a new DIY project on her blog I swoon! And I also must admit; she served as some inspiration when I was mustering up some courage to start my own blog.
In her most recent post she covered closet doors with gorgeous green wallpaper. I feel like I’ve been seeing a lot of wallpaper in different places lately, using wallpaper to cover just one wall, or maybe the inside of a cabinet… it’s a thrifty way to incorporate the design of wallpaper without having to buy several expensive rolls. I’d love to cover the inside of my armoire doors in this rich green print.

If these walls could talk.
I love gallery style walls of art in homes. While I’ve faced little difficulty in growing my collection of art, displaying it in a meaningful composition can be a challenge, especially when that collection is constantly growing and evolving.
Wes and Kayla from ApartmentTherapy just posted a great “How-To” on hanging art in a group that can grow. I’m anxiously awaiting until my personal collection is as robust and well-curated as these displays below:
