Party Pants.

My mailman hates me, for sure, because I’ve ordered about a dozen dresses that have all been tried on and returned — my hunt has been a disappointment. I’ve been thinking perhaps I just need to scratch my idea of the perfect holiday dress altogether and try something new this year.Enter some pretty festive pants I’ve been eyeing — maybe a sharp pair of cropped party pants is just what I need to get me through the holiday season? Would you wear patterned pants in lieu of a holiday dress?

Chic in Stripes.

I’ve been enjoying the New York Fashion Week updates from the comfort of my own home this week, living vicariously through the instagrams and tweets, pins and posts, of all of my favorite bloggers. The one piece that has stood out for me among all of the fashion week chatter has been this gorgeous striped Oscar De La Renta dress… isn’t it just the most chic thing you’ve ever seen?

Valentine’s day fashion

Valentine’s Day is just a week away! I won’t be throwing a big party like I did last year, but that doesn’t mean I won’t dress the part. I’ll find any excuse to rock my heart and break out pinks and reds from my closet. But not everyone is ready for a full on pink and red color assault, so I put together two heart-inspired outfits that are little more subtle. Do you have any heart accessories picked out special for Valentine’s Day?

I’m super excited for Urban Outfitter’s bridal line BHLDN to launch on Monday. I’m not shopping for a wedding dress, but am attending lots of weddings this summer so I’m eyeing a few of the gorgeous dresses and accessories that go along with the bridal line. Are those white tassel shoes not the most fun ever?

The Coveted.

Have you been reading The Coveted? It’s like The Selby and The Sartorialist had a baby and then the baby went to go live in very fashionable closets. This dress belongs to Karla Martinez, Fashion Market and Accessories Director, W Magazine. Just one word: WOW.

Heavy metal.

I know I was just complaining about wanting it to be Spring already, but since snow is still in the forecast can I please change my mind and just lust after Fall? I’m still sifting through all of the galleries from fashion week in New York and dreaming about the trends we can expect — particularly all of the metallic cocktail dresses! I love how high-impact all of these  looks are:

Effortless sparkle.

Let’s keep the sequin talk alive…

These sparkly t-shirt dresses say I’m laid back, but I like to party. Totally effortless; paired with some tights and peep toe booties, bam, you’ve got yourself a rocking New Years Eve outfit.
