The Fall Uniform.

Boston weather is making me a bit crazy this week — it’s freezing cold in the morning and then toasty warm by mid-day. I like to commit to a season, and I am ready for Fall. I’m already plotting my official switch from sandals and sundresses to my Fall Uniform … which pretty much consists of tights and boots with cozy dresses, and bright jeans with soft striped tees. What’s your Fall uniform?

5 Under $50: Tassel Loafers

I am ready and willing for Fall to arrive — and on the top of my Fall wish list are tassel loafers. I found five fun pairs, all for under $50, plus a bonus pair from the Gap that are missing the tassels, but certainly not the style. Confession: I’ve already scooped up the pair from Target, and the polka dot version from the Gap — I probably need one of the pink versions next, right?

The sun has been down for hours and it’s still in the mid-eighties outside — and I’m convinced it’s at least 200 degrees inside my apartment. Naturally this steamy hot July weather has me thinking about one thing: Fall Fashion. A girl can’t help herself — summer styles are on the clearance racks and the Fall ads are starting to pop up in the magazines. This Burberry ad got me particularly excited for a palette of olives and burnt oranges — and of course a little animal print!
