I was silent on the blog last week while I was working on some behind-the-scene projects, and after a nice weekend of recharging I’m back in action today with a new download post! I’m talking about a few of my recent recipes that have been big weeknight dinner hits, what’s on my reading list this month, and a few spring obsessions (including some darling Easter basket finds for Jane!):New Recipes.  I shared a bunch of new recipes this month and by far the most popular one was my Trader Joe’s one-pan cauliflower gnocchi hack. I’m definitely going to be making some more of these shortcut meals to share on the blog because the response to this one was awesome! Another really popular recipe this month was my Pappardelle with Lemon, Asparagus, and Broccolini – it’s so vibrant and fresh and perfectly timed for spring veggies! One more easy recipe that can be made on a single sheet pan was in the mix: Honey and Spice Roasted Chicken and Carrots(PS: These are my favorite sheet pans, they’re so inexpensive but really durable and versatile – I use them everyday!)

Reading List.  I have finally gotten back into a good rhythm with my reading list these past two weeks and finished a book that I LOVED: Rules of Civility by Amor Towles. It is definitely my favorite book I’ve read so far this year, I highly recommend it if you’re into historical fiction! After that book I zoomed through Jasmine Guillory’s The Proposal in two nights – it was cute and chick-lit-ish if you’re looking for something very light and quick. Now I’m digging into The Rhythm Section by Mark Burnell – it’s a thriller and feels a bit like Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(and happens to also be a trilogy!). It’s going to be made into a movie this fall with Blake Lively, which is how I heard about it!

Spring Obsessions. I have been working on some Easter content ideas, and having all the pretty little pastel things out for photo-shoots has me PSYCHED for springtime. I’ve been eyeing a pretty orchid colored spring coat and some bright pink turban headbands to get my springtime color palette in order. And the new Keds x Rifle Paper Co sneaker collaboration is just about the cutest, springiest thing I’ve ever seen! I’m thinking the rainbow stripe pair is going to be in my future.

Easter Baskets.I know Easter is still a month away, but Jane is already showing interest in all things bunny-related so I’m super excited to make her Easter basket this year! I already ordered some egg-shaped chalk and a really cute bunny purse (this rattan bunny one is so cute too!).  Her love of novelty sunglasses means a set of bunny glasses are a must! And there is SO much cute stuff in the Target dollar-bin section right now like little Easter bubble wands (also, I recently discovered you can shop the dollar-bin items online now, what?!).
