Leek and Shallot Party Dip.
Serves: 2 Cups
  • 2 Leeks
  • 2 Large shallots
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 Cups of sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp of fresh dill
  • 3 Tbsp of fresh chives
  • 1 Tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  1. Thinly slice the light green part of the leeks, and thinly slice the two shallots.
  2. Cook over medium heat with a very small amount of olive oil for 7-8 minutes.
  3. Add a finely minced clove of garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Once leek and shallot mixture is fully cooled, combine with sour cream, dill, chives, spices and lots of fresh cracked black pepper and salt.
  5. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving; pair with Food Should Taste Good Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
