Buffalo-BBQ Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb of Ground Turkey
  • ΒΌ Cup of BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp of hot sauce
  • 3 Cup of chopped Scallions plus more for garnish
  • 1/3 Cup of panko bread crumbs
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Blue Cheese crumbles
  • Boston Lettuce
  • Shredded Carrots
  • For dipping sauce:
  • 8 oz of Sour Cream
  • 1/3 Cup of blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • Ground Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Coat a non-stick pan with cooking spray and heat to medium-high heat.
  • Combine ground turkey, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, scallions, breadcrumbs and garlic in a bowl and mold the mixture into four burger patties.
  • Season the burgers with salt and pepper, and place them in the pan to cook.
  • While burgers are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by combining sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, apple cider vinegar, and fresh ground pepper into a bowl. Keep refrigerated.
  • Cook burgers until internal temperature is 165 degrees, about 15 minutes.
  • Glaze burgers with a drop of BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Serve burgers on a bed of lettuce and shredded carrots, top with more crumbled blue cheese, scallions, and dipping sauce.
