Perfect timing.
Right after my comments yesterday about Thomas Paul wares being discounted on Rue La La and Gilt Groupe this week to possibly make room for new additions to their line, Design*Sponge posted a preview of their new collection. What perfect timing!
The pillows have a nice worn-with-age look to them, and you know I can’t get enough of the chevron:
Plus it looks like the octopus curtains I was raving about at Anthropologie will also be produced for the shower too!
Cleaning house.
Thomas Paul must be clearing out the warehouse to make room for new goods, because after the line’s pillows were featured on Gilt last week, they’re now offloading other treats on Rue La La this week like their rugs:
Stretched canvases:
And those famous silhouette plates:
I adore their prints, and am excited to see what else they must be working on if they’re clearing out all of this old inventory!
Gilt-y pleasures.
There are some fabulous Thomas Paul pillows on Gilt Groupe today, and they’re half-off! I seriously want one of each pattern… too much?
I’ve been in love with this plume print forever:

Thomas Paul Giveaway!
I’m very excited to announce a giveaway courtesy of CSN Stores. Their site is pretty awesome, they have tons of microsites that sell everything for your home from bar stools to lamps to, well, Thomas Paul accessories.
As you can tell from my Thomas Paul post yesterday, I LOVE his fabrics. But what I didn’t realize was that he also makes a ton of other home and travel accessories in fun prints and patterns. CSN Stores is kindly supplying one of my lucky readers two adorable pouches from Thomas Paul’s Luddite collection.
Both cases have vintage-inspired hand silkscreened images of pencils and pipes on heavyweight cotton canvas. I love little zippered cases like this to organize all of the coins and make-up and junk I seem to accumulate in the bottemless pit that is my purse!
- To enter, simply leave a comment below letting me know your favorite item or print from Thomas Paul.
- Mention this giveaway on your blog and leave me another comment letting me know you did for second entry.
- This giveaway is limited to US Residents only and ends on Tuesday, March 30th at midnight EST when a winner will be chosen at random. Good Luck!
Aviary accessories.
My friend Colleen bought an adorable bench from Target for her living room, and when I saw it at her apartment I knew the pattern right away; the print is identical to Thomas Paul’s Aviary fabric.
So a quick jaunt to the fabric store, and about two weeks of the fabric sitting on top of my sewing machine collecting dust… I finally whipped her up some pillows to match. I’m a little sad to see them leave my apartment, I love the cheery print.
Speaking of Thomas Paul, make sure you come back tomorrow for a fun giveaway from AllModern.com!
Silhouettes.
I was holding off on this post because I wanted to finish a little project I’ve been working on, but it seems that silhouettes are the rage and I don’t want to be behind the curve! Apartment Therapy posted DIY Silhouette instructions last month, and followed up last week with some more black and white inspiration. I’ve seen them popping up all over etsy; showing up on dinnerware, and nestled in gallery-style photo arrangements.
I originally started an embroidery project to create a silhouette pillow, but after seeing them framed for wall display, I may decide to stretch my finished product over a canvas, or use an emroidery hoop as a frame!
Here’s my (seemingly never ending) work in progress:
And some of my inspiration for the project:
