My holiday gift guide inspiration is continuing this week with tons of festive ideas for the hostess! A host or hostess takes on so many meanings at the holidays. It might be the family that’s invited you to stay with them for the weekend, a co-worker treating you to a holiday lunch, or the Christmas party hostess with the mostest! I hit Bed Bath & Beyond for their huge selection of my favorite brands and a one-stop-shop for these fun, festive and unique gift ideas and came up with a few themed present ideas for everyone on my list.Staying over for a long holiday weekend? Pack all the essentials for a flavorful breakfast for your hostess. Wrap up an interesting flavored pancake mix, pancake shape molds, some decorative dish towels and matching spoons and spatulas — and for good measure grab some tasty high-quality maple syrup too. It’s a hostess gift that will benefit everyone in the morning!

Keep a few small little luxury gifts on hand for the pop-in guest that brings you a surprise treat, or to gift to kids’ teachers, girlfriends, and co-workers. A few of my “good to gift for everyone” ideas: a lightly scented candle in a pretty container, a picture frame in a neutral style to sit on their desk, or a decorative tray that can be used for everything from entertaining to corralling jewelry on your nightstand.

For the hostess with the mostest, give a small gift that aligns with their love of entertaining. Small details like festive paper party goods (confetti napkins and gold paper straws!) are a perfect little trinket to pair with a bottle of wine. Or if you’re looking for a slightly bigger gift to share, consider something seasonal that the hostess might not spring for herself — like Christmas napkin rings, wrapped up with a set of matching holiday napkins (I love these gold polka dots!). Presentation is key; display them in a matching ice bucket and wrap it up with cellophane and a bow for a high-impact gift!  A gift for a hostess that goes above and beyond is one with a little R+R theme! I fell in love with this polka dot teapot, and think pairing it with some special mugs and matching decorative dishtowel makes the cutest gift. Pair this combination with some beautiful teas, a good hibernation-worthy book, or some DVDs of binge-worthy shows for “tea and time-off” theme so that your hostess can find some time to relax!
