I felt like I packed an entire summer’s worth of activities into my weekend. On Friday we took a sail around the Boston harbor on the Adirondack III — a belated birthday treat for the Mr — and it couldn’t have been a more gorgeous night. We had wine and cheese and took in the Boston skyline as the sun set. Then Saturday was filled with lots of celebrations and activities for a dear friend’s bachelorette party. We got blow-outs with the bride-to-be to get ready for the day, and did  a walking wine tour of the South End neighborhood, tasting wines and food pairings at different local restaurants — wine and cheese were clearly the theme of this weekend! And our day of fun was followed by the usual bachelorette debauchery of dancing and clinking of champagne glasses. It was a jam-packed weekend and now I’m paying for it — I can’t wait to get in my bed and catch up on the DVR!

It was a busy weekend! I had (lots) of drinks with my girlfriends at book club, caught a baseball game at Fenway, and checked off a few wedding tasks from the to-do-list! Picking up a print for our guest book table from the framer resulted in some major excitement; and addressing dozens of save-the-dates, a little less exciting but certainly productive! What did you do this weekend?

I took a mini-break after the Fourth of July and made my way down to the Cape for the weekend. It was perfect Summer weather with warm days and cool nights, and plenty of beach time. I cautiously dipped my toes in the water (have you heard about the sharks?) and enjoyed spending some time with old friends over cocktails and BBQs. What sort of Summer fun did you have this weekend?

It was crazy gorgeous weather in Boston this weekend, and while I had a long list of things to do, I put off of my tasks and decided to soak in the weather with some drinks and relaxing on the porch. I finally scooped up some peonies at the market and made use of my new gingham plates. Then on Sunday we headed outside the city and did a little research around our wedding venue for rehearsal dinner spots. It was a tough job, testing restaurants on the water, but someone has to do it! What did you do this weekend?

With the holiday on Monday in Boston, it seems like the week has gotten away from me — I’ve barely had a chance to download all of the shots I snapped over last weekend. I enjoyed warmer weather and took an impromptu trip down to New York where I caught a baseball game, shopped, visited with friends and family, and enjoyed a stay at the Thompson Hotel.

I also made a long-awaited trip to Fishs Eddy while in the city. Major sensory overload from all of the amazing glassware and china gave me a buyer’s-freeze; I wanted one of everything and thus didn’t choose anything; another trip back is a must! And just like that, it’s practically the weekend again.
