The snow started falling in Boston on Saturday and it made me feel like the holidays were officially here. I snagged some really cute metallic wrapping paper and tinsel bows while I was out shopping — I can’t wait to start wrapping presents with these. And Sunday I found the holy grail at Trader Joes: Peppermint Mocha macarons in a bright shocking pink — this box was just a ‘test’ to make sure they lived up to expectations for some holiday entertaining — and they certainly did!

We’ve got one last color-themed holiday gift guide this week, and I had to save the best for last: pink! I wouldn’t mind wheeling around on that hot pink cruiser or donning those striped bow gloves! And is there any better gift for a blogger than a hot pink external iPhone battery? I think not!

Finding the perfect wedding dress was a super painless and easy task for me — I was incredibly decisive and knew exactly what I was looking for. As a self-professed statement necklace junky, my hunt for the perfect wedding day jewelry has been far more of a challenge. Big chunky beaded necklaces, layers or pearls, delicate gold chains, I just can’t seem to make up my mind! These are the few of the contenders in the mix now, which one is your favorite?

As much as I love shopping for shoes, I have a very hard time buying shoes. Combine my hard to find size with a very short tolerance for uncomfortable footwear and I end up doing a lot of window shopping to find the right pair. But every once in a while I luck out… when I opened this box tonight I crossed my fingers and toes that these ones would work! And what luck, they were a perfect fit!
