Some things…
Some things…
1. On the next season of Project Runway the episodes will be 90 minutes long. Imagine how much longer my recap posts will be!
2. Diane Von Furstenberg is designing outfits for the Rockettes. The eager 10-year-old tap dancer version of my self is totally high-five-ing the adult version of my self in my brain right now.
3. The new Forever21 in Times Square is attracting more visitors daily than the Statue of Liberty … like 7x more. Which lead me to realize that I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up right outside New York City and never did make it to the Statue of Liberty, I had pneumonia during my 2nd grade field trip there.
Perhaps if the Statue of Liberty had high-kicking tap dancers and $3 sunglasses, I would have made more of an effort.
Coney Island.
Too early to start thinking about spring fashion? Never.
I’m excited to see some nautical trends popping up in my inbox from everyone from Forever21 to Kate Spade for the spring; sign me up for striped tees and flirty 1940s sundresses.
Kate Spade’s creative director, Deborah Llyod said her inspiration for the spring collection was “If you took the train to the end of the line and ended up in Coney Island.”
Sometimes my friend Jason ends up at the end of the line in Coney Island, but it’s usually because he fell asleep on the train after one too many cocktails — not because he loves nautical inspired tees.
Sweating to the oldies.
Just what you needed to help motivate you to keep your New Years Resolution!
Body suits, boy-shorts, and stone-washed sweatpants from Forever21′s workout line. Sexy!
Bedazzled.
New Years Eve is an occassion that always demands a new outfit. I popped into the mall over the weekend to find something to wear and was confronted with a sequin overload. Every store was brimming glittery dresses and sparkly tops.
I’m all about a flash of bling, but like all good things, sequins are best done in moderation. I think a perfect NYE outfit would be a little black dress with that pop of sparkle in an accessory, like some bedazzled high heels:

FauxCo Chanel.
SJP has been rocking Chanel in multiple magazine spreads the past few weeks (Elle, Glamour) and making me lusty for a Coco inspired cardigan for myself…(How freaking adorable is that second picture? Love her.)

I’ll have to settle for some FauxCo Chanel though, and luckily Forever21 is pumping out the Coco inspired looks lately:
