I am anxiously awaiting tonight’s premier of the new season of Mad Men. As I’m counting down until it airs, I was reading an interesting article in the Boston Globe about the evolution of the cocktails throughout the 1960s and what that means for this season (say ‘so long’ to the dry Manhattans and ‘hello’ to vodka martinis). The goods news is that this means a while new era of cocktail glasses and fun drink accessories for their prop stylists to impress me with. Who’s going to be watching with me tonight?

It was a busy weekend! I had (lots) of drinks with my girlfriends at book club, caught a baseball game at Fenway, and checked off a few wedding tasks from the to-do-list! Picking up a print for our guest book table from the framer resulted in some major excitement; and addressing dozens of save-the-dates, a little less exciting but certainly productive! What did you do this weekend?

Last week was a bit hectic to say the least, so I welcomed the weekend with open arms and an open calendar — no plans and lots of downtime were the recipe for relaxation the past two days. I indulged in a few cocktails, some quality gab-sessions with my girlfriends, and a little Spring cleaning around the apartment. What were you up to this weekend?
