I love this bathroom makeover from the blog AB Chao. The monogrammed shower curtain, the bowl of nail polish, and the cute striped accessories all caught my eye. My favorite part though is the mini-gallery of Polaroid pictures tacked up with patterned washi tape. I think the impermanence of this little art installation makes it feel so special and unfussy. It makes me want to find some film for the dusty old Polaroid camera in my closet! What do you think, do you like the idea of unframed artwork in your home?

Ok, this why I love reading people’s blogs… because I learn about adorable and really smart ideas like this one from Erin Loechner’s guest posts on Sfgirlbybay! Every season she makes a lookbook for herself with magazine tear-outs and Polaroids of her current wardrobe to mix and match looks.

I love this idea because she’s right, it totally makes you realize all of the stuff you can do with what you already have… plus it sounds like SO much fun! It would also be a really fun way to decorate the inside of my armoire, perhaps I could put a little cork board inside the doors and tack up some inspiration to get me motivated to try some more daring outfits!
Now I just need some film for my polaroid camera… have you heard about Urban Outfitter’s Limited Edition cameras in partnership with The Impossible Project? I need to get my local Urban and snatch some up before my old Polaroid becomes obsolete!
