I’ve been thinking about DIYing our wedding flowers, and one of my lovely bridesmaids found  a class on floral arranging nearby that we attended this weekend. It was so much fun learning a few techniques for creating bouquets! I can’t wait to practice what I learned with some other types of flowers.

You know how the weekend never feels long enough? I think a three-day weekend really helps with that problem, I could use a few more of those. I spent mine enjoying the warm weather, helping a friend with some wedding planning (by being an expert cake taster, tough work!) and taking in some delicious food [...]

I was just downloading all of the pictures off my camera from the past few weeks and remembered I snapped some pretty shots at a Farmer’s Market in CT last weekend. How gorgeous are these flowers? They were all beautifully displayed in mason jars; wish I had brought some home on the train with me!
