I’m excited to be partnering with BUBBA burger on a tasty burger recipe series this summer (check out the other posts here!) and we’re continuing our collaboration today with a super easy, and exceptionally fast summer dinner idea: Grilled Cheeseburger Pizza!
I’m all about quick dinners in the summer, after a long day of work and camp and if we’re lucky some beach time, everyone is tired, and we need a meal on the table asap! I turn to the grill so much in the summer for quick meal prep, and a giant bonus if I get to be outside in the cool evening breeze instead of hanging over my stove in a hot kitchen.

- 2 BUBBA burgers
- Prepared pizza dough crust
- Cheddar Cheese
- Olive Oil
- Sesame Seeds
- Lettuce, chopped
- Tomatoes, chopped
- Onions, thinly sliced
- Pickles
- 2 Tbsp Mayo
- 1 Tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp Pickle Juice
- ¼ tsp Paprika
- ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- Make the special sauce, combine ketchup, mayo Dijon mustard, pickle juice and the spices into a bowl and mix until it’s well incorporated. Set it in the fridge to chill until you’re ready to serve.
- Heat the grill and cook your BUBBA burgers. While they’re cooking, par-cook your pizza dough and then prep the rest of the toppings – cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
- Once the burgers are cooked, chop them up and add them to your pizza dough and top with cheddar cheese. Lightly brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Add the pizza to the grill and cook until the cheese is melted, and the dough is at your desired doneness.
- Finish the pizza with fresh toppings – lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and a drizzle of the special sauce and enjoy!
