This past weekend I was delighted to partner with one of my favorite brands — Madewell — for a fun spring shopping event. I became a Madewell convert the day I walked into their Natick store and was completely deflated that I couldn’t find denim that fit my body anywhere. One of the lovely stylists helped me try on their denim line until I found not one, but two! perfect pairs of denim; now every pair of jeans in my closet is from Madewell now. While everyone shopped they sipped on mimosas and a rosemary infused lemonade I mixed up. EAT Boutique was also on site hosting a pop-up shop with spring treats, and Maggie of Eat Boutique made some pretty tasty tomato tarts from her new cookbook: Food Gift Love for everyone to enjoy — it was a fun little fete to cap of the weekend!

This weekend I had so much fun hosting a bridal shower for one of my girlfriends. Girly does not even begin to describe it. We had pink lemonade, a cake made out of pink donuts, pink cupcakes with glittery sprinkles, pink rock candy, and lots of sparkly pink and silver garland draped around the room. I had such a fun time preparing for it, and even more fun catching up with the ladies over cocktails and party games.

Some of the images were taken by one of the lovely bridesmaids, Sylive. Check out her work here.

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending a book signing  for Holly Becker’s new book Decorate at the Boston Anthropologie store. It felt like meeting a celebrity when I approached Holly at the event; I had taken her blog class when I first started this site so she was a big influence in my early days of blogging.  And my admiration for Holly has only grown after reading this book — it is packed with gorgeous interiors and great design advice.

After the book signing the fun continued when I attended a luncheon with bloggers from around Boston that gathered for the book event. I had a blast talking to all of the amazing bloggers and artists and designers in attendance.
