I’m usually done with my Christmas shopping a few days after Thanksgiving because I love prepping the perfect gift for everyone in my family and plan so far ahead. This year has been a busy one though, and I’m a little bit behind on my shopping! Little luxuries like cashmere gloves in beautiful colors make the perfect gift for the hard to gift; you could pair them with a matching cashmere hat or scarf for a really beautiful present. For the guys, a cashmere sweater is another luxe gift that they might not buy for themselves, which makes it such a great holiday treat (this one is even machine washable!).
Cozy Wear. I’m delighted the weather has been getting cooler because I picked out the coziest Fair Isle sweater from Garnet Hill to wear at the holidays. I can’t even find the words to describe how warm and snuggly it is, I want to hibernate in it all winter long! A cozy sweater is such a good gift for moms and sisters; I actually think a matching sweater for the kids would make a darling group gift too!
Winter Pajamas. I picked out a pair of the sweetest holiday pajamas for Jane that have wintry print – I love that they feel festive but that she can still wear them all winter long. I think gifting holiday pajamas is the perfect gift for the kids, and pairing them with some animal slippers makes it fun, playful present!
Holiday Heirlooms. We have only lived in our house for a few years now, and I feel like we’re still in the process of collecting special holiday décor pieces. I love the idea of gifting personalized stockings (Jane still doesn’t have a stocking, I have to get on that!) or holiday pillows with the recipient’s family name. Now that Jane is starting to get what Christmas is, we’re starting our own holiday traditions, and I think this knit mitten advent garland would be so fun to fill with treats!
Party Pieces. It’s impossible not to shop for yourself when you’re doing all of this gift giving, right? I’ve been eyeing this textural velvet blazer and lace sleeve tee to wear for holiday parties – I love their festive details! Please let Santa know they’re on my wish list, wink wink!
